Conveniently located at the corner of Hastings and Howe streets, we're just a three-minute walk from the Granville Street Skytrain station and only slightly farther from the Seabus terminal for our clients visiting from the North Shore.

Jack R. Cartmel CPA, CA
Managing Partner
Jack Carmel is a founder of NUMIS Consulting. He is a graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology as well as the Chartered Accountant School of Business. He offers a full spectrum of financial management services but takes a particular pride in growing his clients' businesses.
Oscar Sy
Principal
A lifelong Vancouverite, Oscar Sy is a principal at NUMIS Chartered Professional Accountants. Oscar excels at simplifying complex issues so that his clients can focus on managing and growing their businesses. After earning a BBA from Langara College, Oscar began his career at Ernst and Young as a cross-border tax specialist in expatriate and non-resident tax matters.
Andrea Sy CPA, CA
Partner
Andrea brings a very strong analytical focus to any client’s tax issues. She started her tax career in 2008 in the Global Mobility group at Ernst & Young and spent over 15 years in cross-border tax groups at various mid-size to big-four firms.
Regina Mekwuyne
Executive Assistant
Regina is NUMIS’ Executive Assistant. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Regina graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Global Leadership and Administration (Masters of Administrative Science).
Niti
Accounting Bookekeeper
Before coming to NUMIS, Niti graduated from Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar, the economic capital of Punjab. She has completed a Bachelors in Commerce with Honors and brings a high level of enthusiasm to her position as Accounting Bookkeeper.
Ivy Zhao
Accountant
Ivy has been with NUMIS for a little over one year. She’s a graduate of the Sauder School of business at the University of British Columbia where she earned her BA in Commerce before going on to take her CPA.
Avelyn Chen
Accountant
Avelyn has 4 years of public practice experience. She graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree with a focus in Accounting. Avelyn is currently working on obtaining her CPA designation.
Zoe Feng
Manager
Zoe is a cross-border tax specialist based out of Ottawa. She earned her Masters of Accounting as well as her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University. Zoe recently passed the CPA (CFE) exam and made honour roll (top 1% in Canada).
