Jack R. Cartmel CPA, CA
Managing Partner
Jack Cartmel is a founder of NUMIS Consulting. He is a graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology as well as the Chartered Accountant School of Business. He offers a full spectrum of financial management services but takes a particular pride in growing his clients’ businesses.
Oscar Sy
Principal
A lifelong Vancouverite, Oscar Sy is a principal at NUMIS Chartered Professional Accountants. Oscar excels at simplifying complex issues so that his clients can focus on managing and growing their businesses. After earning a BBA from Langara College, Oscar began his career at Ernst and Young as a cross-border tax specialist in expatriate and non-resident tax matters.
Andrea Sy CPA, CA
Partner
Andrea brings a very strong analytical focus to any client’s tax issues. She started her tax career in 2008 in the Global Mobility group at Ernst & Young and spent over 15 years in cross-border tax groups at various mid-size to big-four firms.
Hayden Benoit CPA
Partner
Prior to joining NUMIS, Hayden was a manager at McFadden Buttar & Associates where he did mainly business accounting, year ends and other tax services. He graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and is a CPA.
Melinda Marsh
Senior Manager
Melinda was at Maciel & Co. for eight years before they merged with NUMIS, where she continues her work as their Senior Manager. Melinda is also a skilled accountant and earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Newcastle.
Sophie Sauers
Manager of Administration
Sophie is a native of England and oversees the administrative function at NUMIS for all offices.
Anish Bhojwani
Junior Accountant
Anish Bhojwani refers to himself as “an aspiring accountant.” He obtained his Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Accounting from Thompson Rivers University and is keen to learn more. He’s proud to be working with all the other professionals at NUMIS.
